Sehati TeleCTG introduced the TeleCTG device, a portable version of the Cardiotocography Tool (CTG). This Device has a small size that can be transported by mobile.
In addition, the price of the engine is less than 20 million IDR. In comparison, the original CTG engine ranges from 150 million rupees. Then, this unit is equipped with a 0.96-inch LED, a Bluetooth and a transducer.
TeleCTG performs a variety of functions, including recording the heart rate and rhythm of the child, controlling fetal movements, and recording contractions in the pregnant woman.
According to Ari Waluyo, CEO and Founder of TeleCTG, this tool was created to address the high maternal mortality rates in Indonesia.
“We are losing in Vietnam, where the maternal mortality rate is lower in terms of quality of health, but most importantly, it seems that risk factors leading to higher mortality are belatedly recognized,” said Ari. waluy.
According to Ari, risk factors can also be determined later from data sent by midwives via the Sehati app, a KIA book scan. The data is obtained by verification using the TeleCTG tool.

Currently, the tool has a distribution license at the end of November 2018 and is being tested in 14 sub-districts of Kupang. The pilot project is expected to be completed by December 2018 in May 2019.
In the meantime, sales will also be directed to the provinces of Central Java and West Java in the first half of 2019. The end of the year then focuses on exports to Vietnam and the Philippines, with the two countries sharing the same features that Indonesia.
However, Ari said this would require the participation of many interested parties for wide dissemination.
